Dear friends, It is my great pleasure to have this opportunity to serve you for next three years as a President of Tapting Sherpa Kyidug (Pike Solukhumbu Tapting Samaj Sewa). I feel honored to have this opportunity. I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your trust and unyielding support.

I would also like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to the founding members of TSK. Today, we have this privilege to serve and give back to the community because of your sacrifice and selflessness to establish this organization for the greater good of the Sherpa community. Again, on behalf of the newly elected committee I want to say "thank you" for your contribution. In recent years, many Sherpa have come to Kathmandu from Tapting Village of Nepal. Our young community has seen unprecedented growth at all levels. Today, many hard working Sherpa are living in around the Kathmandu area. This is an exciting development for Sherpa families who are looking for a sense of identity and unity. We need an organization like TSK to help this young community grow as a vibrant and prosperous community in every way. We want to develop a tradition where every new comer to our community is welcomed with open arms. We not only need to preserve our fascinating culture and uniquely rich tradition but promote it, share it and teach it to our children. With your support and help, we will achieve our goal of establishing a prosperous and culturally rich Tapting Sherpa community here in the greater Kathmandu Valley area.
